Every morning i start my day with happy little faces looking for cuddles.
They’re out there waiting for me and Lucy for a walk.
They’re many, all beautiful and all loving.
They’re my Egyptian friends in four legs.
Their race is probably the Canaan Dog, the local breed of Palestine from Israeli origin. Is an ancient dog, whose origins we have no certain information. Experts claim that to its formation it’s evident that more breeds have contributed, from the Shepherd lupoid to Collie.
During the two world wars, the Canaan dog was used as a relay race: with excellent results was carrying messages and orders. It has also been used in the research of the wounded.
It has sociable character and stands out for alertness.
In the presence of strangers it is distrustful and immediately gets on the defensive without being aggressive and is remarkably loyal and devoted to its owner.
Whit his fairs poses remind me a lot Anubis, the god of ancient Egypt in canine form.
They do not claim anything, do not judge you, not abandon you and they are happy with very little things.

Ogni mattina inizio la giornata con musetti felici in cerca di coccole.
Sono lì fuori che aspettano me e Lucy per passeggiare.
Sono tanti, tutti bellissimi, e tutti affettuosi.
Sono i miei amici a quattro zampe egiziani.
La loro razza probabilmente è quella del Canaan Dog, una razza autoctona della Palestina di origine israeliana. È un cane antico della cui genesi non si hanno notizie certe. Gli esperti sostengono che alla sua formazione è evidente che abbiano contribuito più razze dal Pastore lupoide al Collie.
Durante i due conflitti mondiali il Canaan dog è stato impiegato come staffetta: con eccellenti risultati portava messaggi e ordini. Inoltre è stato utilizzato nella ricerca dei feriti.
E’ di carattere socievole e spicca per prontezza di riflessi.
In presenza di estranei è diffidente e si mette subito sulla difensiva senza essere aggressivo ed è straordinariamente fedele e devoto al suo proprietario.

Non pretendono niente, non ti giudicano, non ti abbandonano e sono felici con poco.
